Bottom-Up Approach of Teacher’s Best Practice to Avoid Student’s Perplexity in Listening

This best practice aims to find out teachers’ on the bottom-up approach in teaching listening EFL students at higher education level, students’ perplexity listening, and responses listening. The has been practiced due figuring some linguistic features such as short long vowels, word linking, diverse English accents, diction, many others which are not available native language. Thus, frequently have those aspects. occurs being far different from ones Indonesian qualitative research employed one teacher who is particularly charge of ten freshman students. finding revealed that a classes given until they get used it so can well-prepared top-down indicate no longer about speakers. conclusion showed before with approach, would be initially practiced.
